In my (Sara) opinion, I think that George changed a bit after he dropped his first album. The mixtape reminds me of his b-sides like Up to You and Danger Stranger (or I guess if you mixed the two? Haha). I do think it’s a challenge for an artist to somewhat reinvent the style of music and to make it fresh every single time for not only the listener but for the artist as well. I, personally, don’t mind the mixtape — it’s certainly no Hurting Child, and I don’t like it as much as I like Up to You, but it’s not bad!
